Optical probe kit comprising OMP40 probe (optical/optical - modulated), OTS 1/2 AA optical tool setter with disc stylus (optical/optical - modulated), and OMI-2T optical interface/receiver (15 m).
The OMP40 probe (including batteries and tool kit) is an ultra-compact 3D touch-trigger probe with optical signal transmission. Used for workpiece set-up inspection on small and medium machining centres and the growing number of high speed machines fitted with small HSK and spindle tapers.
Compatibility with all Renishaw optical receivers enables users to easily upgrade existing installations.
Probe switch-on / switch-off methods are user configurable. The factory-default setting of optical on / optical off can be modified to optical on / timer off (timeout) if required.
The OTS is a compact 3D touch-trigger tool setter with optical signal transmission used for broken tool detection and rapid measurement of tool length and diameter on a wide range of tools.
The tool setter includes ½ AA lithium-thionyl chloride batteries, and is compatible with Renishaw optical modulated receivers.
The OMI-2T assembly includes a 15 m exit cable, tool kit and magnetic label.
