The air temperature sensor is used in applications that require refractive index compensation. The sensor contains a thermistor to monitor ambient air temperature in the range of 0 °C to 40 °C. The temperature reading is converted into a signal inside the sensor, which reduces susceptibility to noise when the reading is transmitted to the RCU10.
