Description

EVOLUTE is a true-absolute 50 µm-pitch optical encoder readhead with wider installation tolerances and enhanced immunity to dirt. EL32BBB100F30A has a 3 m cable with a 9-way D-type connector.

EL26BBB100F30A is an absolute encoder readhead that incorporates industry-proven technology from the RESOLUTE encoder series. Configured for a linear encoder system that uses Renishaw RTLA50 scale, mounted with either self-adhesive backing tape (RTLA50-S) or FASTRACK™ carrier (RTLA50).

This readhead uses BiSS C® (unidirectional) serial communications.

EL32BBB100F30A Key Features / Benefits:

  • EL32BBB100F30A is suitable for RTLA50 scale lengths up to 10.02 m and is IP64 sealed for high reliability in harsh environments
  • EL32BBB100F30A features <10 nm RMS jitter for improved positional stability and excellent motion control
  • EL32BBB100F30A, when used with RTLA50 scale, is compatible with FASTRACK carrier system for low hysteresis applications and installations that require regular disassembly (contact your local Renishaw representative)

About the EVOLUTE series of absolute encoders:

  • Superb installation tolerances and greater dirt immunity for applications that demand not only the highest operational integrity, but where fast installation is critical
  • An optional Advanced Diagnostic Tool ADTa-100 (A-6525-0100) is available for real‑time encoder data feedback during installation or for in-field diagnostics
  • Integral set-up LED on the readhead for simple installation
